Linen-Linen Project Bag"A favorite stitch. A favorite yarn."
First published in our summer 2012 newsletter, this knitted version of our Churchmouse Linen Project Bag is done in linen stitch with a linen blend yarn—Karen calls it a linen trifecta! The stitch has a deceptively woven look (hence the name) and works up beautifully in Rowan Creative Linen. Each bag takes two skeins of Creative Linen (219 yds/220m each) plus approx. 15 yds/14m of a contrasting color for stripes.
To get the free pattern, add it to your shopping bag below. And once you've got the hang of linen stitch, you might enjoy this other linen stitch project.
Our seasonal newsletter is published five times a year and always contains a free pattern, timeless tips and articles, as well as some more timely product and class information.
