We can’t imagine a simpler—or more adorable—little sweater. When Mary Jo Blazina added this cutie to our repertoire seven years ago, she designed it in Trendsetter’s soft, fluffy ‘Blossom’ yarn and added a pretty flower button. If you make it in a woolly yarn for a little fellow, just think of it as ‘Bud!’

2(3) skeins Trendsetter Blossom (92 yds/84m each).
Or 2(3) skeins Sublime Luxurious Wooly Merino (96 yds/90m each).
Or 184yds/168m(276yds/252m) of chunky-weight chenille- or bouclé-type yarn.

NEEDLES
US 9 (5.5mm) needles, or size to get gauge.

GAUGE
13 sts /18 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch.
